Our policy priorities

LGNZ is the sector voice for councils across the country. We advocate on behalf of our members and lead the sector’s commitment to improving practice and efficiency, enabling economic growth, community vibrancy and environmental wellbeing. Protecting and enhancing local democracy is paramount.
